1. Acceptance of terms

By installing or using Beyond the Devices, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not install or use the applications.

These Terms are between you and Vatsal Chevli, trading as Beyond the Devices (“we” or “us”), the publisher of the applications.

2. Use of the software

Beyond the Devices grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use the applications on devices you own or control.

You may not:

• Sell, sublicense or redistribute the applications as your own product.
• Remove or obscure proprietary notices.
• Use the applications to break any applicable law.

3. Your responsibilities

• You are responsible for the devices you pair and for keeping them physically secure.
• You are responsible for the network you run the applications on. The apps send data only between paired devices, but a compromised network or device is outside their control.
• You are responsible for the content you copy, mirror or share through the apps.

4. Availability and changes

The applications are provided as they are, and features may change between releases. Individual features can be added, altered or removed as the product develops. The current release status is always shown on the download page.

Features described as planned or on the roadmap are not part of the current release and may never ship.

5. Intellectual property

The applications, their design and their wordmark remain the property of the publisher. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership.

Third-party components included in the apps remain subject to their own licences.

6. Third-party services and platforms

The Android application is distributed through Google Play and the macOS application through this website. Your use of those platforms is governed by their own terms. Beyond the Devices is not responsible for the behaviour of the platforms themselves.

7. Warranty disclaimer

The applications are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. No warranty is given that the software will be uninterrupted or error free.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the publisher is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for lost data, arising from the use of the applications.

9. Termination

You may stop using the applications at any time by uninstalling them. The licence ends automatically if you materially breach these terms.

10. Changes to these terms

Updated terms are published at this address with a new “last updated” date. Continuing to use the applications after a change means you accept the updated terms.

11. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to any mandatory consumer protection law that entitles you to bring a claim where you live, the courts in India have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the applications.
